Custom methodology, electronic and sensors prototyping, and computer programming are often the only way today to inaugurate and complete original and innovative scientific research. While the variety of instruments provided by the market is huge, it happens frequently that there is no out-of-the-shelf apparatus that could cope with the investigation requirements. In this section I will list the most relevant papers that we published, where a custom device, designed in our labs, made the difference in terms of study feasibility and success.
